Eldon L. Looby Elected to Harlem Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors

Eldon L. Looby has been elected to and named as a member of the Board of Directors of the Harlem Symphony Orchestra, located in New York City.

The Harlem Symphony Orchestra is a 501c3 non-profit organization that highlights the visibility and historic contributions of orchestral instrumentalists of African descent.

The orchestra consists of African Americans who are graduates of the nation's top conservatories and music schools, such as the Julliard School, New England Conservatory of Music, Manhattan School of Music, Eastman School of Music and Indiana University.

The orchestra performs traditional works, music by African and African American composers and features African American instrumental soloists.
